CASE STUDY: Factory 

This local manufacturing company sustained a fire damage in Buildings 2 and 3 which resulted in over 150,000 sqft of affected smoke damage. SKY Restoration DKI responded on the day of the fire to assist with mitigation to the structure. A total of 3,200 gallons of water was removed from the building and some demolition was required to the offices and adjacent rooms. 3 – 10,000 cfm desiccants and portable generators were used to assist in drying and power grid. The emergency water mitigation was completed within a week. Structure cleaning commenced once aligned around the production schedule of the insured. A team of 1 project manager, 1 Health and; Safety Officer, 3 supervisors, and 15 technicians proceeded to clean the project after hours on Building 2 which was roughly 50,000 SF. After the completion of Building 2 in 45 days, building 3 (60,000 SF) was started and completed 45 days later. The cleaning project consisted of 45ft scissor and articulating lifts carefully maneuvering around production lines and machinery. Containment was built to minimize and cross contamination of structure during cleaning process. Complete commercial duct cleaning was also performed. Temporary break rooms, lighting, restrooms, and wash stations were setup on site.
