Brian Elkins (Owner) began his journey in restoration in 2009 as a franchisee with a leading national restoration group, growing a small business startup into a thriving 26,000-square-foot operation with over 50 dedicated team members. Over his years in business, Brian expanded his reach to three licensed territories, serving 11 counties across Kentucky. His commitment to quality and his deep industry knowledge placed him among the top volume producers statewide and in the top 50 nationwide. Before his restoration career, Brian worked in Information Technology as a Systems Support and Network Technician. He brings a technical expertise to his work, holding certifications including IICRC's Water Restoration Technician (WRT), Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), and more. He is also an EPA Certified Lead Renovator and Xactimate Level 2 user. With nearly 15 years of experience, Brian has traveled nationwide to aid in major storm recovery efforts, ensuring properties are restored with integrity and skill. In 2016, Brian founded SKY Restoration DKI, LLC, an independent, full-service restoration company dedicated to quality and compassion. Brian believes in building a team rooted in trust, continuous learning, and a commitment to the community. Outside work, Brian is family-oriented and values giving back to the areas his company serves. These values drive SKY Restoration DKI's core mission: Restoring peace of mind.
